We went from this
To this and have stayed at this for weeks now. Rain and rain and even more rain.
Sigh! The days are long and grey and boring and ever so nasty.
Still it seems like there is always something that needs to be done.
I’m looking forward to walking with Boomer in the SUNSHINE! Where we throw shadows on the ground and our feet don’t collect mud!
But not yet! Not today. Not for awhile. Another big storm system is heading in here in a day or so, until then just know that I am
Dreaming of those hot summer nights some place in the future!
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda

I HATE MUD! Loath. Despise. Abhor. Ick ick ick. And I know what you mean about boring. It seems to go along with certain weather patterns. You better tie Terry to a tree. That man should not be walking upright on a roof when there’s rain in the forecast. Crazy!!!

We are supposed to get ice here too. It has been so icy and wet that Ralph swept the sand out of the kitchen for me this morning…much appreciated. Now we are scurrying around getting ready for the next go round. Hang in there dear friend. Not too many more weeks before things begin to get better.

Ah, mud season…
or should I say UGH, mud season? The muck is overwhelming. We haven’t had much winter here this year. And, I would love, LOVE to see the sun.
Hang in there, better weather has to come eventually. Right? (here’s hopin’!)

The ice storm we were supposed to have yesterday, must have gone somewhere else but it’s raining and raining and raining. Next week looks like a break coming in though. That looks like a dangerous project on that roof with all those branches. Think I’ll go back to bed now and pull the covers over my head. Dark and dreary. Have a wonderfilled day, Linda.

It sounds like our part of Oregon and your part of Colorado have exchanged climates. Our Oregon families report snow and ice storms and bitter cold. When we lived there (all year long) it was all gray skies and rain rain rain, while we have always thought of Colorado as being cold but sunny.
