Fields of Yellow—Tuesday, September 10, 2019

The Pinto bean fields are starting to turn yellow

It’s getting close—Pinto Bean Harvest.

And to go along with Fall—-a big fat Cat-Head Spider.  It seems we only really see them in the Autumn time.

Your friend on a western Colorado farm,

Linda

  1. We used to see these spiders every year..they were interesting and harmless to humans. However, this year we have not seen these or even the big garden spiders. Lots of late summer dragonflies, though. I hate the thought of summer being over…yes yes, I know Indian Summer is beautiful, but just a reminder that winter is on the way.
