In the Fall the Crows and Ravens arrive
They are amazing creatures…never holding their tongue. Talk, talk, talk, there among the tired and worn leaves.
For, if they know it! They tell it!
CAW!!! CAW! CAW!
Gossipy birds! 🙂
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda

I also read they have the intelligence of an 9 year old.

Chitter Chatter. I am glad they haven’t arrived here yet – They are so noisy! Hummer visited this morning, then off for Trinidad.

Lucky you. The Blue Jay only go to the base of Grand Mesa and along the bases of the other mountains, never here. I think they are lovely

I love the crows! The most wonderful bird parents, and we were lucky to have a pair nest in our spruce a few years back. They speak quietly to their young in the nest and as they get older, the conversations get longer. Ours left a couple of weeks ago when they gathered in big flocks to head your way. Say hello to them for me. I will not see them again.

Wonderful intelligent birds… I saw a story in the internet about a little girl who had been feeding them for years, and they in turn brought her gifts. She had a collection of stones and shells and beads and other objects they had brought for her…
Beautiful photos Linda XXXX
