Beaglie and I go for a walk daily around the farm.
It’s nice to get out and about, to stretch one’s legs and to expand one’s lungs
Although, it is still chilly…coat wearing chilly
There is a feeling of March in the air. A decided shift toward warmer and nicer weather
There are about 14 baby cows (calves) out on the land; more to come.
It’s trying to snow right now, so I suppose we will see more calves born. They like to come out in nasty weather for some reason. 😦
Still, there is a smell to air which says March is coming!

We’re over the hump in February, so there is the excitement of knowing March (and hopefully Spring) is getting closer.

YES! That’s how I feel! Some farmers are even plowing now…so spring is coming!

Spring was late last year and colder than winter. Let’s hope spring is soon.

The Angus in the second last photo looks like she’d like to drop her calf as you photograph.
She looks like she is sick of the heavy weight – ha ha
Has your agistment rancher changed from the Charolais white cows to the Aberdeen Angus
breed – the cows and calves as shown in photos of 2016 /2017?
We here after all our devastating fires are now having floods! Never a dull time weather wise in the “Land Down Under” !!!

Different rancher than the one with the Charolais. I miss the white babies, but these are just as cute. I’m so sorry about the weather it’s been very hard there.

We’ve got signs of spring, here. Narcissus blooming all over…saw a tree on the riverwalk sprouting beautiful white flowers (not a Dogwood).
MOOOOOOOO! Love those cows.
