and it is the largest.
All Alfalfa—1,000 bales give or take.

Brightening the morning, the day, and the evening with songs and chatter everywhere
Glorious spots of color
Brightening the shadows.
What a huge gift Summer birds are to the eye, the heart, and the soul.

I found this Colorado native growing along the highway
In front of our farm.
It likes dry places to live. And it has an extensive root. Still, I think I might try to get some seeds and plant them with my Russian Sage…I think it is just beautiful. And the bees love it.

Now that we are getting closer and closer to the Summer Solstice
The evening sky is starting to change color
No longer pink
Or purple
It’s changing into a lovely
YELLOW! The color of Summer!
