MOM! It’s Nice out here!
MOM! The Birds are singing!
MOM! NO WIND!!!!
GOSH!
YAY! COME ON, MOM!!!
Boo Berry
(Taken last week when we had snow again)
It snowed here—stopping the farming
(Last week It melted fast)
Sending me inside
With the house dog!
Huh?! WA?! Oh! ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. Boo Berry
In the afternoon it stopped snow/raining
So I went back outside. I have STUFF to DO!!! Much more than that dog does.

Mom and Dad have been working to clean up that
HUGE branch that fell in the yard
TLC and I helped
TLC said let’s play over here…that way we are out of the way.
After a bazillion hours, it was time to go in
TLC beat me to the house—he went in with Dad
I had to wait for Mom
HURRY MOM!
Finally! She got there!
Boo Berry and TLC
I was out doing my thing:
You know–hunting!
When I decided to head out to the field to see if there were any field mice wanting to play with me
Yep…lots of big birds
Oh! Well. I started moving along the gated pipe, searching and searching, trying to coax at least one mouse out into the open.
While I was doing that a new flock of the GIANT BIRDS FLEW DOWN AND LIT RIGHT BY ME!!!
I tried to ignore them, but ONE DECIDED TO PECK MY HEAD!!! Mom washed my head—but I washed it better.
I AM NOT BIRD FOOD!!!
I ran as fast as I could back to the house!
It was a couple of days before I felt comfortable going outside.
Mom said to be careful for a spell. The cranes are starting to migrate
It won’t be long until they are all gone…but until then….
I need to stay in the yard!

I used to walk about all the time with Boomer and Fuzzy. But as they aged I stopped.
We have too many of these creatures.
Coyotes are out and about.
With Boo Berry I don’t go out unless she just HAS to GO Pee.
So out we go. She is on high alert….night noises scare her tremendously.
But for a short walk about—just to get ‘stuff’ taken care of—she can handle.
I saw this very common weed in the dark—and thought! WHY NOT!
YES!!!
Perfect weed in the dark for a photo shoot.
Then, Of course, it was back, as fast as possible to the door, and we went.
Nighttime is not a favorite of Boo Berry’s 🙂
