Flowers on the Place

Sweet Woodruff grows wild around the base of one of the trees in our yard, and these lovely little wild flowers are blooming madly on the hillsides.

Wonderful!

Checkers Came to Visit

When Terry rode through the kid’s yard to change the water, Checkers decided to ‘go with him’ and then come on up to visit Fuzzy and me.

Farm Folks Have to Be Handy at All Sorts of Stuff

Thank Heavens Terry knows how to fix just about everything!

If it isn’t one thing, then it is Another!

This hasn’t happened in Years!  We have water in the basement!  Not just a small amount, but about a foot.

This happens if the neighbor waters his corn at the same time Terry has water in the field in front of the house.

What a mess, but it does dry out.

Fishing in Georgia

Evan (our son) and the boys spent the day fishing at the campground in Cordele, Georgia.  Evan’s work is in Cordele, but his home in about 70 or so miles away.  The kids bought a fifth-wheel camper so Evan can stay there during his work week.  Sometimes on his time off, everyone drives to the camper for food, fishing, and fun.

If you will notice this was taken in March.  How nice, we were still having wind and snow.

The New Alfalfa is Doing Well

Terry should get one cutting off this new seeding this year.  Next year we will have more hay for all the people calling.  The price of hay is high $4-$7 a bale for small bales.  Some years a person can only get $2.
