It was lots of fun!
We plan on attending at least one more before the summer is over.

It’s happening!
The corn is starting to tassel
And the baby ears are forming!
So! SOOO! Very exciting!
“Summer was our best season: it was sleeping on the back screened porch in cots, or trying to sleep in the treehouse; summer was everything good to eat; it was a thousand colors in a parched landscape; but most of all….summer was Dill.” Harper Lee

I’ve been thinking about Blessings, lately.
Thinking how we (as a human race) are always looking for blessings–often time meaning some huge big something we are wanting/need/hoping for
But then it dawned on me—they are really everywhere-
In each moment of every day —for instance
When the birds sing loudly—scattering their voices for all to hear
The wind sings a little song in the leaves (in the trees or on the ground)
The summer gifts of rains and rainbows to the
The snows of winter.
Blessings are here and there and everywhere—why just now getting to visit with you is a huge blessing to me.
And when you comment we get the joy of communication between us.
Blessings!
They are everywhere. Truly!

It wasn’t raining right here, but still—on our way up to change the water. There in the clouds over the in the East was a very faint but still beautiful RAINBOW!!
A lovely, lovely gift!
