As the Rain Left Our Area — Thursday, October 30, 2025

I had to go to town to get my weekly supply of groceries—you know, where you need a small loan from the bank in order to check out.

When I saw a RAINBOW—a symbol of hope, blessings, and continued favor from the God(s) who decides all things.

We Had Magical Fog—Wednesday, October 29, 2025

After another round of rain,

We had fog in the early morning!

Fog is a huge delight for me.  It’s not unheard of here, but it’s usually a rather rare occurrence.

My mother always said fog was a cloud that sat down on the world—so we could enter the world of Fairy for a bit.

I delighted in that thought then, and I still do now!

To Catch a Falling Leaf — Monday, October 27, 2025

I wanted to get a photo of a falling leaf….Yes, I know, simple things entertain me.

Surely I could find ONE!  I could take a photo of it, surely

AND I DID!!!

Catch a falling leaf and put it in your pocket, save it for a rainy day.  OOPPS

Catch a falling star!!!

Shish!

Still, the leaf does work…yes! It does!

Last Load —Sunday, October 26, 2025

We are set.  Unless our winter is over-the-top cold..

Then we have to do more.  We do have a cord of wood still to split. So I think we are fine.

(Caught on the game camera—I wanted to see if the deer came into the yard, but they didn’t)

The Adventures of Boo Berry Betty and TLC Cai-Cai on Friday—-MY TURN!!! TLC , Friday, October 24, 2025 Chapter Nine

Chapter Nine

 “MOM!” Boo Berry howled. “MOM!”

“What are you screaming about?” I asked as I trotted up to see what was going on with Boo.

I want in.

Why?

‘Cause I’m outside and I want inside.

Why?

It’s Outside.

So, nothing’s wrong with the outside.  Outside is big, fun, and really exciting.

That’s exactly why.

Oh, Boo, you are such a scared dog.

No, I’m not.  I just like being inside better.

MOM!!!! Boo Berry Screamed.

What’s going on, Mom said, walking up to the house.

Oh, it’s that dog; she wants in.

MOM! MOM! MOM! Boo Berry jumped around and bounced this way and that.

In Boo Berry?  Mom asked

Okay, I’m ready to go in.  Do you want in, TLC?  Mom bent down and gave me a pet.

Hum, let me think about it, I purred.

Okay.  I replied.  I guess so.

I found this really neat rock—with a message on it

I think it says DAD.

After all, I think it must be a tad hard for a rock to write.  🙂

What do you think?

Sometimes I Just HAVE’TA — Wednesday, October 22, 2025

Go on a walk.  Among the sighing of the drying corn, the rustling of the (Thankfully) dying weeds

To touch the earth with my feet.

Boo Berry and I, and sometimes,

but not always TLC.

Sometimes Terry goes with us.  Not often, he is usually busy, but still sometimes.

We go many places here and there upon the farm.  No work in mind, just being one with the earth.

I always take my camera—and I always look for kisses [hearts] from the earth.  Because they are there. We just have to look.

Raining or not, we go.  I just need to feel the earth, the sky, the air, be blessed by the sun, the moon, or the rain.

Sometimes—I have to go outside.

FIGHT!!!!! —- Tuesday, October 21, 2025

I decided to set up a game camera to see who or what is clacking around by the haystack yard.

Boys!

Yep.

Oh!

WOW!  Three — it’s a brawl!

Whew!  I have no idea who won.

I love seeing these big machines work.

Isn’t the amount of metal trash stunning?
