A repeat of this
Has been going on and on
I’m getting tired of this.
It’s hard to look dashing and handsome in the wind!

As the night started closing in, the murmuring of the water and the flashing/setting sunlight illuminated the beauty all around.
Then home again we rode—the earth seeping darkness; lifting toward the sky and the sky blazing with glorious color.

There is such a magical beauty about this time of year
The stunning glory of the spread wings of the the Red-Winged Blackbirds
The chirping song of the Red-breasted Robins
Shadows starting to show leaves, instead of stark limbs
A little tiny slice of the moon; sending it’s light into the pulse of the earth
The sun shines through the clouds right into our souls.
The granules of sand, dust, and dirt gifting love to each one of us.
We are all so blessed, you and I. So very blessed.

(Mom was not very happy with me—I don’t understand why)
Filling the air with lovely (but very cold) drops of rain, and huge wind; gifting all things.

(and no, the changing of irrigation doesn’t stop because it rained. The rain only made the first 1/8″ of the soil wet. BUT it did wash off all the plants and trees! 🙂 )
