I wonder if the earth is really Eden. I can’t imagine a more perfect beautiful, wonderful place than Earth.

We’ve been helping Mom and Dad make cement for the incoming ditches
It was a gradual process because Mom and Dad stirred up the cement themselves
They worked on it for a long, long time
TLC waited in the weeds…Me I moved all around looking and smelling. It was great fun!
We helped and we rested and we helped —whatever Mom and Dad did we were involved!
DONE!
We just wait for it to cure, Dad says.
Mom says we are great helpers!

CLOUD IRIDENSCENCE!
Cloud iridescence is the occurrence of colors in a cloud similar to those seen in oil films on puddles, located in the general vicinity of the sun or moon. It is a fairly common phenomenon, most often observed in altocumulus, cirrocumulus, lenticular clouds, and cirrus clouds.
WOW! So exciting to know (and to actually see)! I’m on the lookout for it now.
Maybe you can see some in your part of the world also!

Monday was a beautiful day of early spring
So I spent it trying to get bird photos
Although, I saw a Robin
And a Western Meadowlark sang sweetly to me
I wasn’t able to get their photos!
Which is alright by me. These little darlings are just perfect for a photo shoot.
The Red-Winged Blackbirds are continuing to gather — singing sweetly in the trees for a day of rest. After which they leave us for the Back Forty—which works. I can always drive up there to see and hear them.
Spring is a time of sparkling excitement and soft gentle days!
What a joy!

The plowing is all done!
All the plowed ground is now rolled—you have to smash all the plowed earth flat, the roller does that
The plowed and rolled ground is leveled—meaning fixing the ground so there are no humps, lumps or bumps in it so the water can go through from the top of the field all the way to the bottom of the field
All the grass fields and the alfalfa fields have been marked out ready for the water to start
Equines (not cows) are very hard on gated pipe—-we now have all the gated pipe repaired.
Getting closer to starting water on the farm. Soon now.
Very soon!

Seems like there is always, always
Something to do outside!
Dad is always outside—sometimes in the farm yard, sometimes on the farm land
Mom is outside most of time
So we go with her! (and each other)
Mom says we are the bestest of helpers. Always close to hand, always right where she is working
Mom says that way she doesn’t get lonely!
