A short, quick blizzard started everything. It was fast!
A swirling storm of sleet and rain—-
With Just Enough moisture
To miss up the windows! 🙂
Then the big storm hit!
WATER!!! We need it!

I’ve been thinking—it seems like everyone gets to have/experience tough/hard/miserable times
It’s just the way the Universe helps us become better people. Or, if you don’t believe in a higher Power, the way we can learn and experience how to ‘over-come’ obstacles.
(Yes, he got himself down.—Slick as you can please!)
So, we are all very independent in our thinking and therefore our actions…..if something goes South (instead of North)—we find out if we dare to fight on.
(TLC is trying to see if we are home and if he can come in. 🙂 )
And you know something—we usually can. Maybe we need some help from others, but mostly we have to give it our all to make things swing UPward again.
March is coming! YAY!
March is always the start of Spring for Terry and I

We are melting—all the beautiful wonderful exciting to see icicles, have fallen
Sliding off the roof in large thudding sheets
Mud is starting to manifest and ICE! Lots and lots of ice.
Although, the drifts are still thick and heavy in places
The shadows fling across the lawn; colored in blue. Perfect for a cold winter’s day.

Summer is all about one thing:
Water!
Water for the crops
(which I will tell you about in another series)
and Mom keeping her flowers and stuff wet.
And Dad keeping the farm crops growing.
Water!
The Life Blood for the Farm!
This water stuff doesn’t come to end until late August or early September.
It all depends on how fast the corn matures
and when the last cutting of alfalfa occurs.
For Mom, the watering of her yard comes to a hault
when the farmer next door stops watering his fields.
Water…there is more to it than meets the eye.

Fixing lunch yesterday, I found a small heart. Resting in the sack of potatoes,
Just waiting for me to notice it!
There it is…that confirmation that love always surrounds us.

Love shows up in every single place we go. It waits for us…all we have to is look.
In the space of heartbeat…the Universe tells us we never stand alone.
Love,
Linda
It started snowing hard yesterday afternoon flinging the snow into the night and on to the morning, where it is still snowing today. Big soft wet flakes of pristine whiteness.
Of course there are more babies out there…we counted three, just hours old, but up and following the Mom. That is in the bunch close to the house. The older calf is somewhere else, I haven’t seen it this morning.
Winter has returned here. Storm warnings are until tomorrow with 18″ on Cerro Summit. Water should be good this year. 🙂
