The new alfalfa field!  🙂

For true joy—live in the now—not the past, nor the future.  Only the present.

It’s the only way, one I try to practice constantly (and sometimes fail).

For I believe, in the moment, right now, there is a delightful message sent to you from the God(s)—one you need/longing for.

Only in the moment can your heart, mind, and soul receive.

You just think I’m going with you.

I don’t Care if T’Ata and Glory Bee are going!

You aren’t going to make me go

EVER!!!

Get this through your head…

I only go if I WANT to go! said LaVerne the Mule as she dashed this way and that.

So, that is what happened.  LaVerne stayed home (and bawled and cried and ran up and down in the pasture)

While T’Ata and Glory Bee went for a nice long walk-about.

LaVerne the Mule—guess what?  There is a saying: “Don’t cut off your nose to spite your face.”

Nose? Nose? Why would I cut off my nose?  LaVerne puzzled.

Oh, muley girl, you just don’t get it.

The wind and dirt arrived again

Making it hard to move around on the farm; littering the air and our mouths and noses and eyes

Along with the wind came RAIN Clouds

Lovely, soft, earth quenching, leaf cleaning, air freshening Exhilarating RAIN!

We’ve had a few days of off and on rain now!

It is indeed a beautiful, intoxicating, cheerful, enlivening THRILL!

Each Day is Deceptive—Really—Wednesday, June 27, 2018

Each day is deceptive really.  You think at the beginning of the day there is so much to do

You list of all the things you need to get done, as you lie in your bed, forcing your eyelids to ‘stay open’.

You mentally count off each thing, the weight of their worth etching into your mind the thought of time it will take to accomplish.

As you mentally tick off this and that you remember that one thing which suddenly flings you straight out of the bed, the energy of the thought echoing inside your head

That THIS is the day you must accomplish/go to/company coming/ whatever the marker is you’ve been working toward.

Then there you are, moving quickly and solidly and thoroughly through your day

The extraordinary happens!

All we have to do is look.

The Morning was Suddenly Fragile—Tuesday, June 27, 2017

I am late today!  Very late!

You see my morning raced by in the wind  (DO NOT PROCEED THE PHOTOS BELOW ARE HIDEOUS!!!)

Our oldest daughter called saying she cut her thumb, but come Quickly….Quickly!

So I did.  Oh My GOODNESS!!!

The morning was spent in the hospital emergency room.

Thankfully she will be okay.  The thumb has been saved!

A Sunday Break—-Monday, June 27, 2016

We decided to take a wee break and drive up the Uncompahgre Plateau.

UncompahgreWe left mid-morning, ate lunch up there, drove around and looked at the beautiful views, then came home.

A refreshing break for mind, body, and soul.
