Yesterday a very brisk, cold wind blew the clouds out of the way, leaving us with a very, VERY crisp day.
This morning we are in another winter weather storm watch.
BUT…look at this!!!
As the wind was blowing one storm away from us I saw an extremely rare site.
(At least for me in this part of the world)
A winter rainbow in the west…
I was extremely trilled!
Linda

I thought about you when I heard the forecast of snow. I hope your area gets good, wet snow!! Merry Christmas to you and your family including, of course, Boomer and Fuzzy.

That is about as dramatic as a sky can get.

Gorgeous… Love the rainbow. We had a thunderstorm last night here with thunder, lightning and some rain… Some areas (luckily, not us) had some hail… Crazy weather…
Cooler here today –but not down to freezing…. They are talking about a big winter storm coming here maybe Dec. 26…….?????? I was hoping for some snow for Christmas –but I’ll take what we can get… ha.
Have a good day and stay warm and SAFE.
Hugs,
Betsy

That is exciting. I wonder how many times that happens in this wintery country? Where there is a rainbow, there must be sun…somewhere. I see sun this morning which is nice. But now we have the horrible wind. Brr.
Stay warm!

I think your country has more rainbows than Hawaii. It helps that you get out of your house to see all that weather and bring your camera along to share the wealth of beauty. Thanks!

So did you hear any thunder? It’s not impossible to see a rainbow at this time of year but very rare. And guess who was on the money to get a photo? Cool!

It pays to keep your camera by your side, something I need to remember to do! Wonderful photo Linda. It is now raining in our neck of the woods, but we will have a White Christmas, I hope. Merry Christmas to you my friend, Julie.

How lovely that rainbow is Linda! I have gotten way behind on reading blogs as we get re-settled for the season. I will catch up next year ;>). Meantime, seasons greetings to you all (including Fuzzy and Boomer of course).
