The Adventures of Boomer on Friday—-A Good Day

I was going to tell you ALL SORTS of stuff…things like how scared I was, how very sick I was, how the nasty cough hurt (it’s almost gone now, but not all the way) you know all the STUFF I’ve been going through.

But Mom told me she has been telling you.  That you have all been there pulling for me.  Geez, that is so cool!

So…. I will tell you I’m on the mend.  I don’t cough as much, Mom gives me orange Gatorade and coconut oil.  I don’t like the coconut oil.  I try to spit it out, but Mom makes me try to swallow it by putting it on my food.

Sigh!

BUT I MUST ADMIT…it seems to be helping my throat!  My throat gets too sore and dry so it’s hard to swallow.

OH! I’m going into details.

Anyway…just let me tell you…I SAW FUZZY DUDE!  Boy have I missed him.  He was waiting for me over this bridge full of all sorts of colors.  I started to run toward him, but he barked at me to STOP!

So I did.

“GO BACK, BOOMER!  GO BACK!  Mom needs you.  It’s not time.  I will come get you when it’s time.”

So I did.  I woke-up to Mom looking at me saying: “You can go, if you want, my Little Boomer, but I would really like you to try and get well. It’s up to you, but if you stay, Boom…you have to try.”

So I did.

And you did.

  1. Lovely to see your bright and shining smile….nice of Fuzzy to see you too…just think two great options..and you chose to keep on shining ..right here right now. Blessings and stay out of those fields .. and just do the easy thing..stay on that lounge mom has..with kitties..and just snoopervise from there.

  3. Your post brought tears to my eyes, Boomer. I am so happy that you are feeling better and will stay with your Mom for a few more years. Fuzzy was right to send you back…..he will wait for you. Love pulled you back to earth….you are so blessed to have so many pulling for you and loving you. Your Mom is so very special….lucky beagle, indeed,

  7. Geez Boomer ~ You know how to bring tears to my eyes. It’s so good to see you with tail up wagging and that beaglie smile! You stay close to mom and take care of the kitties. Looking forward to farm news when you’re up to it. You’re a special pup! Luv ya, Boom!

  8. So good to hear from you Boomer ☺ The a pack hasn’t done one night’s hunting since we heard how poorly you’ve been! We’re all skin and bones now and look like we have worms! 😉 You’re on the right track now so just take it gently, keep swallowing that “lovely ” lol medicine and in time you will be back to your old self again 😊 For now concentrate on regaining your health again and strength….then you can come hunting with us and help us catch a Bison!! 😃

  11. Oh Boomer…so glad to hear that you’re on the mend. When I saw that pic of you and Fuzzy I almost got a tear in my eye. Stay around awhile yet Boom….cause your Mom needs you! And we love to hear about your latest antics! Get well and stay well Boomer!!!
