We all went for a walk, Mom, Boo, and me—-TLC
And we saw a RAINBOW!!!
Mom was thrilled,
Boo and I didn’t really care, but it made Mom happy so we were happy!

YAY! THE HEAT IS GONE! No more panting and panting and panting.
No more hiding in the shade and having to come inside to cool down!

Another fire! Not far from the first one!
Smoke fills the rim of our sky and sometimes the whole sky.
Mom says there are other worse fires out there in the world.
What we all need right now is RAIN!

I had sat the game camera down (heading out to the corn field to see if I can photo the deer).
These two wanted in—so I helped them by opening the door! 🙂

That is the fire! Scary isn’t it?
We don’t like the fire. Or the horrible smoke from the fire.
The fire report says it has grown to —-way over 3,000 acres
And still growing.
Scary stuff.
Boo Berry and TLC
There is a huge fire 12 miles from us—see the smoke haze in the horizon?
It’s sunny, hot, and very windy—not a help for the firefighters
It is a fire on the Uncompahgre Plateau
It’s called the Little Mesa Fire. 60 firefighters plus helicopters to dump water; all trying to contain the fire.
It was started by lightning.
