Boy, is it ever nice!
Boo Berry and I spend lots of time outside
On the grass
Lying in the shade
Or in a spot of sunshine
NICE!!!

BROWN!!!
This is Mr. and Mrs Pheasant. I’ve only seen one batch of chicks. I hope there have been more.
We do have a family of foxes up here. A passel of skunks—and of course, masses of Raccoons. Not to fail to mention the coyotes.

We have finally entered the last week of August!
Whew!
I am so grateful!
I never, ever, thought I would say that the heat (we hit 104* lately) would get to me.
But it did! I need a cool down. Of which, I’m sure
Everyone and everything else does too.
Next week, September!!! YAY!

It’s hot!
We do mean HOT!!!
100*F (37.77C)
101*f (38.33c)
102*f (38.88c)
103* and 104*f (39.44 to 40c)
Then, possibly some rain is coming in for four or five days. Maybe.
We (Mom, Dad, US) sure hope so!
It is Just TOO HOT!!! That is a belly dump air plane heading to one of the fires.

We have a nice bunch of Quail, which live on the farm with us.
I love to hear their sweet little voices
And to watch their chicks grow up.
I’m so grateful they are staying safe from the predators
(Hop, skip, jump)
Who also live with us on our farm.
