Beauty — Thursday, June 20, 2024

Look closely at the hawk…she has nesting material in her beak!! 🙂

While on a almost night, but not totally dark we saw a porcupine hurrying from the ditchbank—(to get a drink of water) back to his home.

Beauty–it is everywhere!

“Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself.”–Coco Chanel, fashion designer.

I would add—Beauty begins the moment you start looking for it!

Grass! —- Tuesday, June 18, 2024

The grass was ready to cut.  The heads all bloomed out and just started to turn into seeds

Perfect!

Now we wait for it to dry, then we bale, and off it goes to fill tummies!

The Language of God(s) — Monday, June 17, 2024

While changing water I looked up into the sky and saw–

A whole rainbow without feet touching the earth anywhere!

A bridge! From God(s)–Hope is eternal!

I Had the Most Unique Experience—-Sunday, June 16, 2024

I was out taking photos when I saw a sunbeam/ray hitting the earth right before me

Yes, I was looking through my camera lens — but still…..

It was amazingly cool.  Nothing I had ever seen before, and probably won’t ever be in the right position again!

The Adventures of Boo Berry Betty and TLC Cai-Cai on Friday—-What is Happening Here, Friday, June 14, 2024

There have been LOTS of goings on here

I mean LOTS!!!

Yep!  Every day!

Not the same people (well, sometimes they make two trips)

They are after the same stuff

Mom says this all good!  I should remember this from last year.

I remember.  It just —

It just cuts down on my mousing!!

So I go inside when Boo Berry barks the big trucks and trailers down the road.

Besides it’s hot out there!

Out on the Ditch Bank, Part 2, Thursday, June 13, 2024

I ran to Mom so I could go with her to the field,

We were checking the water for the billionth time of the day (not complaining–cause I like to go)\

Suddenly Dad stopped and said—“Look!”

Snake!

“What a pretty snake,” Mom said.

Dad and I agreed!  The off we went–

Golden Hour on the just planted alfalfa field!

Out on the Ditch Bank, Part 1, Wednesday, June 12, 2024

Boo Berry and I were zipping along —following behind Terry — off to check and change the water (again)

When I saw these two little siblings trying to catch up with their Momma

They were so cute (and so terrified of me) that I just had to stop and take a photo of them.

Just darling!!!

After our quick photo shoot, we drove around them — as they watched us closely.  The second they felt safe enough they scurried after Mom who must have been in the hay field waiting.

What a joyful gift they were to me!

When It Is WAY TOO HOT—Tuesday, June 11, 2024

Ya just gotta go for a ride

Yep— it is the simple things that give someone the gift of extraordinary.

We Now Have Wings on Our Feet—Monday, June 10, 2024

Busy, busy, busy!

I love it.  Although—

I must admit by noon we are a tad exhausted

Our days start at 5:00 and end at 9:30 p.m.

A little rest after lunch keeps us going strong until we come at dark.

Ahhhh- Summer I love you!
