Every Day I am Alive—-Thursday, April 4, 2024

Every day I am alive is a beautiful and wonderful as the one I just lived through —

The Spring light triggers the migratory birds: it’s TIME to Come Home.  Time to mate, make nests, raise young.

It is my understanding that more than 650 bird species nest in North America and most of those species migrate Spring and Fall.

If you would like to see how many birds are migrating OVER your area go here.  It’s extremely intersting.

Burdens, There Really aren’t Any —- Tuesday, April 2, 2024

Nothing is really a burden.  It’s just a step to take—a time to process and ‘think through’ the problem.  Sometimes even wait for a spell.

As my mother would say to me [in the final days of her life]—just step back and wait, everything always works out for the best —- if you will just let it.

Burdens are nothing, but a wee bit of heavy for a spell.

That is all.

All Done for the Year—-Monday, April 1, 2024

Everything is plowed that is going to be plowed.

The plowing leaves the plow shears mirror bright and very sharp.

Earth teems with sights and textures, sounds and vibrations, smells and tastes, and electric and magnetic fields.  But everything can only tap into a small fraction of reality’s fullness.  – Ed Yong, and Immense World

I actually enjoy seeing them like this—-all bright and shiny and reflective!

Plowing—done for the year!

Moving onward—we go.

No Apricots This Year — Wednesday, March 27, 2024

We were experiencing a terrible winter storm….. on Sunday, Monday, and early Tuesday morning.

Temperatures dropped to freezing with windchill at 22*.  The wind was sharp, sharp, sharp.

Once more, our year will be incomplete from that lush golden fruit called apricot.

I Saw the Most AMAZING Thing — Tuesday, March 26, 2024

I was out looking at the clouds, enjoying the moment, so to speak

When I SAW

A cluster of clouds that look like a rainbow!

I looked it up and this is what I learned:

A rainbow cloud can occur because of something called cloud iridescence. It usually happens in altocumulus, cirrocumulus, lenticular, and cirrus clouds. Iridescent clouds happen because of diffraction – a phenomenon that occurs when small water droplets or small ice crystals scatter the sun’s light.

WOW! WOW! WOW!

A huge exciting gift!

From my heart to your world,

Linda
