It is Linky turn to stay the week with us. (That is one reason I got my days mixed up and didn’t have the Adventures with Boomer on Friday post 🙂 )
She is learning how to drive the four-wheeler,
and can now set siphon tubes right along with Terry and I.
The days are going fast…there has been time with all the aunts and uncles and her very best friend in the whole wide world. I’m sure she has had some boring times, but she says no.
As for Grandpa and I just having her with us is never boring.
Your friend,
Linda
Having grand children stay with you is what helps us to feel young. Some nights not so much, they can flat wear you out. But enjoy while you have them they do grow up. Take care Linda David Western slope

They can wear you out. You are right they grow and change way too fast. Thank you David.

I’m sure Linky enjoyed her stay with you as much as you enjoyed having her. Each moment with grandchildren is precious.

I think she is a tad bored. So today we are having her BFF to spend the day and night and next day.

The bliss of grandchildren is that it’s one of the times we can actually feel unconditional love pouring out of us, and it’s good for everyone !!!

True…and that goes both ways…unconditional love for the grand child and their unconditional love coming back. All three of the grandchildren still hold my hand when we walk somewhere. Even my 13 year old grandson. He and I decided he will hold my hand even if I’m 92 and he is 46. (how sweet is that?!)

They say grandchildren are your reward for not killing your children. I don’t know about that but I do know grandchildren are a true gift and a blessing. Your place looks beautiful, especially in that light. You two have worked hard for a long time and well deserve all those blessings.

I like to say that Grandchildren are the best part of having kids. 🙂

I do hope that one day my grandkids (I only have one, and she’s a wee one) will come to our little place and enjoy the animals and chores as much as your G’kids do!

I hope so also, Carla. They are such a joy. But one at a time, otherwise they pick on each other and fight…and THAT is a very annoying thing!

I am so envious. My granddaughter is working this summer to pay for college. I’m proud of her but sad for me.
