Last Thursday, Friday, and once in the late evening Saturday.
We got RAIN!!!
Lots of air-clearing, moisture-giving RAIN!
Just Wonderful!

Boy, was it ever hot for a spell. A long-long-long spell.
Good Rain!
Nothing to complain about rain!
Mom and Dad said: YAY!!!

(Mom forgot to get photos of us in the rain so she used these from a while back. It pretty much looks the same!)
I opened my email to THIS 🙂 🙂 🙂
“My wife caught this rainbow in the Western sky around 7:00 Am. Very seldom see them in the Western sky. All things just lined up I guess. Been a wet summer here in the midwest high humidity even for us. Glad to see you back to full time farming this year. “Midwestern follower”
WOW!
What a wonderful gift to receive! 🙂

I am so poor at taking photos of the hummingbirds, so I thought I would take a video!
They are a huge delight!

There is a feel in the air now — a feel of true fall —hovering out there, patiently waiting
Sliding little chilly fingers into the late night and early dawn
Testing, testing to see if Summer will push back —
The moon is almost full; filling the sky with moonshine, so brilliant the silver light reminds me of the sheerest cold of winter
We are losing the songbirds, one species at a time. Leaving us on the wind for warmer climates.
Still summer sings to me warming my days and early evenings; giving me time to prepare myself for winter’s dreary visit.
From my world to your heart,
Linda
It is Linky turn to stay the week with us. (That is one reason I got my days mixed up and didn’t have the Adventures with Boomer on Friday post 🙂 )
She is learning how to drive the four-wheeler,
and can now set siphon tubes right along with Terry and I.
The days are going fast…there has been time with all the aunts and uncles and her very best friend in the whole wide world. I’m sure she has had some boring times, but she says no.
As for Grandpa and I just having her with us is never boring.
Your friend,
Linda
