Dear Linda,
We’ve had so much rain over the past months, here in Auckland New Zealand, but the sun shone yesterday at the end of the day and the rainbow rose out of the sodden land with ease and grace; a welcome surprise. It was so high and large that I could photograph only a portion of it.
 
I thought of you, and then when I came inside, your latest blog post arrived!
 
I love your blog and read them all, even though I don’t always comment.

This was taken at a park/forest preserve property where I will go to relax and watch trains go by.

Below is a rail car that went by this morning, which was rather interesting:

WOW!  Thank you so much!

That is an amazing Sundog.  We don’t get beauties like that here.

The train car is fun—so many talented people out there!

This is my birth month.

Mom doesn’t know the exact day

And neither do I.

We just know that the vet said I was probably born

Around the first of the month of January,

Give or take.

So Mom always says HAPPY BIRTHDAY on the First Friday of the Month of January.

That works for me!

And for Mom.

So here I am TWO YEARS OLD

And King of the family!

(Don’t I look like a king? 😊  )
