Singing the Song of Goodbye —Thursday, November 9, 2023

The leaves whisper to us as they gently float through the sky

Singing a sweet song of goodbye

We are through for the year…this is the time to sleep the trees respond…

We are preparing for that ageless power of winter—a time of rest

From my world to your heart,

Linda

Meet LaVerne—Tuesday, November 7, 2023

This is Shannon’s rescue Mule.  She is around 20 years old.

It’s taken her a long time to trust all of us, but she has finally learned we are all family.

And she is part of our family.   Her favorite person is Terry, but she likes Shannon and me a lot.

She loves massage, special apple treats, cookies, and being with T’Atat and Glory Bee.

We have finally figured out she was trained to pack and ride/ saddle.  She also will follow without a lead, and never strays.  She was trained very well and loved well when young.

The damage came from all those years in between.  At one point she was sold 19 times in two years.

Shannon got her from the meat man (she was going to be sold for slaughter in Mexico).

Meet LaVerne, the sweetest mule anyone could ask for.

The Corn Leaves Shiver in the Wind—Thursday, November 2, 2023

We can all feel the change in the air

Standing by the field, one can hear the rustle of the leaves —singing a drying song.

It’s THAT Time —- Wednesday, November 1, 2023

The earth has shifted— It’s time to start putting the farm to bed.

Boo Berry, Terry, and I started picking up all the siphon tubes, gathering the dams, and closing off the pipes so the skunks couldn’t make a nest in them.

We are moving closer and closer to corn harvest now. (Not yet—maybe in three weeks)

The Magic of Earth — Tuesday, October 31, 2023

I know I say it all the time, but it’s so very true to me—

Winter arrived Sunday—killing everything, mashing it down, taking away Autumn.

No, matter.  It was time.  The earth’s flow of Energy, the sky magic of weather, the very air—says—hush…your time of preparing is over.

It is now the time for winter.

Hush.  Hush.

Try Not to Worry — Monday, October30, 202

No matter how each day begins and

how each day ends

Remember gifts of instinct should always be used; never be blind to your answers from the earth and the Universe…prayers are always answered—it is a gift to our soul and intelligence.

If you look for the good, then Good will always find you.

From my heart to your heart,

Linda
