The critters know IT IS SPRING TIME!!!

Saturday was a mess of a day—40 to 60 mph wind gusts…then around 4:50 p.m. (the house camera caught a giant limb breaking off the very old Cottonwood tree)
A huge limb came crashing down—thankfully not on the house, or the carport — we were home when it happened. It was a tad scary, to say the least.
Sunday we woke up to a skiff of snow/ice and that big branch.
Aw, life—you get to thinking you are caught up on the big jobs — when you get to have another one! 🙂

I was out doing my thing:
You know–hunting!
When I decided to head out to the field to see if there were any field mice wanting to play with me
Yep…lots of big birds
Oh! Well. I started moving along the gated pipe, searching and searching, trying to coax at least one mouse out into the open.
While I was doing that a new flock of the GIANT BIRDS FLEW DOWN AND LIT RIGHT BY ME!!!
I tried to ignore them, but ONE DECIDED TO PECK MY HEAD!!! Mom washed my head—but I washed it better.
I AM NOT BIRD FOOD!!!
I ran as fast as I could back to the house!
It was a couple of days before I felt comfortable going outside.
Mom said to be careful for a spell. The cranes are starting to migrate
It won’t be long until they are all gone…but until then….
I need to stay in the yard!

It was put up on a public website, so I don’t see it as a problem if you share it. It is one of the best rainbow photos I have seen. I just had to send it to you.
WOW! Thank you so much! It is an amazing! AMAZING! Rainbow!
