From My World to your Heart,
Linda
Hi Linda.
I was listening to the St. Louis Cardinals baseball game this evening when I noticed the sun was sneaking out to the West. There were still the dark rain clouds to the South. I figured I better go take a look to the East.
BINGO!
WOW! A double rainbow!
Thank you ever so much from me and everyone who reads my blog!

We belong to the Delta Street Rodder’s Car club
Every month someone in the club volunteers
To lead a group of (however many people who belong to the club) want to go on a cruise
For our cruise in May
(the April cruise went to Arizona and traveled Route 66)
Sam and Kyla led us across the Colorado Monument
Where we stopped off an on to see the sights
Met lots and lots and lots of the two-wheeled riders on the road
Those who could drove with their tops down
The curves were many —- complete with several fun tunnels
A stop at the Visitor’s Center
The air was perfect, the sunshine plentiful
Here is a map of the road
We ended at Munchie’s in Fruita, where Sam and Kyla had a reserved table set up and waiting for us.
Then we all headed our separate ways.
A perfect day!

Dad is planting corn,
He got it all planted
Then he went out and knocked down the rows
Now Dad and Mom wait
( of course, they don’t sit and wait)
After the corn gets a tiny sprout
They will start the water on the cornrows
Soon the tiny seeds will make
BABY corn PLANTS!
As for me—I am busy keeping the farmyard
SAFE!
We are having HUGE wind storms
Dirt fills the air, the sky, and our eyes
It blows fast enough, and hard enough that I almost tip over into the ditches several times
It ruffled the hen’s feathers—in general giving all us headaches.
Gradually it dies down (to return tomorrow)
Gradually we are waking up to truly warmer days full of sunshine!

Linda
