A blessing from the Moon kissing the earth.
Catching us up in its marvelous light.
From my world to your heart,

Always humming, chirping, singing
Letting his girls ‘know’ where good things are to eat
To run in hide, if something strange comes around
He’s a good boy. He doesn’t chase, attack humans or try to harm people.
Larry…you are a good bird!

The memory of green is all we have now
Terry and I have been fixing the fence;
putting up the electric fence, strengthening the five-strand, making sure everything will be ready for when the cows come.
And fixing the road
The start of all the ‘little’ stuff.
Which catches up last seasons work, and gets the farm ready for March, when Spring work begins.

I have been noticing, for some time now, soft, little round holes in my herb garden. Wondering what they were, I decided I had better start paying attention, not wanting some creature or bug taking hold of the soil.
So there I was, two days ago, raking some more leaves out of the carport, when I noticed
A tiny bird in one of the holes. Taking great care to not move quickly, yet get a photo or two
I was able to see, just ‘who’ makes the holes with such intent!
For a few precious seconds, I got to be part of a wonderful little experience–a connection, so to speak.
I thanked the Universe for such a beautiful experience!
From my world to your heart,
Linda
Go quietly, please, step softly outside
And experience with me— the Life Force of our Earth.
Stand still, empty your mind, and just feel.
It is there everywhere, in every plant, every creature, in the wind, the water,
Everywhere.
Please. I promise you, you won’t be sorry.
From my world to your heart,
Linda
Not much snow, but Oh! My! Cold is the word. Lots of wind and a nasty wind chill.
WINTER has Arrived!
(Terry and I are so grateful we got the corn out before this hit. Sadly there are still farmers trying to harvest and can’t right now. The farmer on one side of us, and the one behind us, for sure. We sure hope this passes so they can get back into their fields. :()
