No more chasing this one (or her sister)—ever! She/they has gone to the calving ground!
YAY!!!
Double YAY!!!
I really can’t say it enough: YAY!!!!!
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda
Despite being thrown away.
Despite not knowing how to eat and not finding anything to eat for days and days and days
Despite being locked in Dad’s shed until my backbone met my tummy
Despite TLC
I am finally! Finally Home!
Life is good!
I have hoomans in my life again.
I have a dog I can love again!
All the food I want to eat
Whenever I want to eat it.
A lap to lie on
Mom to brush and pet me
A soft bed to sleep on
I get to go outside!!! Mom says I must have never gone outside in all my many years of my former life, because I don’t know how to use the big outdoors kitty box. I have to come in and use the inside kitty box.
No matter! Everything is good now.
I’m home!
Mr. Hobbs (Hobbs for short)
Today I am 77! Who would have ever thought
My birthday party of Momma’s (and my) friends.
I am the one at the edge of the photo with my hand up and smiling at that little boy or Dixie, my bestest friend in life and forever. Dixie has her head turned, looking behind her.
My brother is on the other edge, looking at all of us.
I just turned 5. Many, many years ago.
From my world to your heart,
Linda
I was walking around (without any furry helpers) trying to find out where that dastardly cow got off too. There are two of them, the last three numbers are: 394 and 395…see sisters or twins, or purchased together)
When I startled a sweet little fox. The photo is poor, but, oh well.
I wonder if it is one that was a friend of Fuzzy’s years ago. Or at least a descendant of that fox.

Either her or 2394 is out.
And chasing her (them) to put them back in is a constant pain
GRRRRR
This one had to go all the way down the lane, onto the road, and into the canal across the way.
At the end of January, they will go to the calving ground—GOOD!

Which will have me delighted to see these two go.
The others are nice, sweet, docile, and STAY in the fence!!!

I! DO! NOT! GET! IT! Mom says I have to be NICE!!! N!I!C!E!
Really!
“Yes, TLC, Really!” Mom picked me up and gave me kisses all over my face and on my nose. I gave Mom Kitty love eyes, then I SAAAASED at Mom!
NO! I! DO! NOT!
“Why not?” asked Boo Berry, “Mr. Hobbs is really nice.”
BE! CAUSE! I! WANT! TO! BE! THE! ONLY! CAT!!!
TLC
(This is a huge work in progress. TLC is continually mad. (We are making headway, but oh, is, it, slow), Mr. Hobbs is quiet, sweet, loves pets, and has picked Dad as his person. It should work out. But so far —- not so much.)
I was out finishing up my winter outside chores for the day when I saw the sun break through the low-hanging clouds.
Delightfully lighting up the low foothills leading to the area of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison.
A touch of pink on a winter day.
Just seeing the rosy color lifted my heart in song!
From my world to your heart,
Linda
FOG!!!
Momma would always say that fog was a cloud resting on the earth!
So —- for just a little spell (fog is unusual here; not rare. Just random), we got to live inside a cloud! (This happened Saturday morning. It was so wonderful I had to share)
A marvelous gift for the New Year!
