As Seen on the Night (Game) Camera —- Tuesday, November 26, 2019

In a small

silver shaft of silvered moonlight

There in the deepening dark

The night camera captured

The wandering souls

Who live in the emptiness

of the pearl-edged clouds

and the blackness of the farm.

The Wandering souls,

As the world nears the solstice,

who walk in the soft and lovely deepening night.

From my heart to your world,

Linda

The Adventures of Boomer on Friday— On the Game Camera

Mom likes to move the game camera here and there and everywhere.  She says it’s fun to see what shows up.

So here we go—Game Camera Time

Mom and I off on one of our walks.

Going

Coming Back

Almost Home

Then she put it by the equipment area to see if there were still coyotes

There are.

So, Dad, Mom and I went for a ride to see if we could find the den

First, we went out at night

We didn’t find anything

Then we went in the daytime

And didn’t find anything

Dad thinks they are living on the neighbor’s over in the brush hill, but we don’t know for sure.

So far there hasn’t been coyote sign in the yard or the farmyard since Spring started.  Mom says THAT is a very good thing.

So Mom brought it home and put it in the garden

Life is good!

The Nicest Word There is—-Sunday, February 18, 2018

“Home is the nicest word there is.”–Laura Ingalls Wilder

We are back!  🙂  With wonderful suntans, lots of blue sunshine and exciting adventures in our memories.

Our sunrises and sunsets are much, much different.

And our time with our grandchildren

In warp speed

We got back, justin time to take in two of Blade’s last basketball games and Linkin’s very last game of the year.

Our vacation was wonderful, watching the grandkids special, hanging out with MIndy Cat and Boomer Beaglie Brown, perfect…

In two weeks farming starts.  Life is good.

Your friend on a western Colorado farm,

Linda
