The Adventures of Boo Berry Betty and TLC Cai-Cai on Friday—- MOM! Come with US!!!, Friday, November 21, 2025

MOM!!!!! TLC yelled.

MOM!!! Boo Berry yelled.

“I’m here! I’m here!”  Mom replied.

“Let’s go for a walk!!” We pranced and danced around her.

“Walk? You want to go on a walk?” Mom asked us.

“Oh, yes!”

Boo Berry zoomed ahead.  TLC dashed right in behind her.

“Okay!  We are off!”

We exploded onto

the farm with Mom.

“Home again, Home again….whew! I need a nap!” TLC puffed

“Me too,” Boo Berry confirmed.

“Come in, kids, it is time to take a nap. Come in, Boo Berry”, Mom invited.

So in we went.

Happy, content. Satisfied!

Sometimes the Sky, the Earth, the Moon —- Thursday, November 21, 2024

Sometimes the sky, the Earth, and the moon, seem

Seem well, seems so wistful! And lonesome—adding a degree of, I don’t know—I don’t seem to have words.  Just a feeling.  Pink water, pink clouds, and a sliver of a moon.

From my world to your heart,

Linda

Gone for the Winter — Tuesday, November 21, 2023

The canal is now turned off

No more water flowing rapidly to the Gunnison River.

It will stay turned off until the last week in March when irrigation starts again.

An Archangel Painted the Sky — Sunday, November 21, 2021

The Flames of mighty truths

The Large and Vibrant Whispers

Of an Arch Angel’s Glittering, and gossamer spell casting deep shadows on the land.

The Earth’s Blessing —- Thursday, November 21, 2019

While out-and-about, looking at the sky through the tiny lens on my camera

The two hens and Beaglie following me

Mindy choosing to NOT get in the way of two hens (they like to chase her–making her a wee bit unnerved.)

I happened upon a lovely gift of  heart…waiting there in the shadows of other rocks

A marvelous gift all dressed in gray!

From my world to your heart,

Yes, I Still Wear Shorts —- Wednesday, November 21, 2018

Yes, it’s cold outside…

And normal people like to dress with lots of layers on

Yes, we heat our house with a wood stove, which makes for lots of work…

But it has to seriously get cold for me to start wearing long pants to work around the farm (I wear long pants to town…just say’n. 🙂 )

I have had to give up my flip-flops during early morning activities

But it has to get insanely cold—like in January and February

To give up my shorts.

In my defense when I grew up all little girls had to wear dresses to school, even in Jr. High, even in High School…please tell me what is the difference between dresses that are the length of shorts and, well, shorts?

🙂

That’s my story and I’m sticking with it!  LOL!!!

Two Gifts…NO! Wait! Three Gifts—-Tuesday, November 21, 2017

Terry and I had to go to Grand Junction last week to purchase a few items.   While at Home Depot

A man was just coming back from taking his two Macaw Parrots for their daily walk, through the building then a wee trip around the parking lot

It was so much fun meeting these very tame birds.  Neither one is tethered to the walker, they sit calmly talking loudly to everyone about everything they see.  Then after the wee walk about…they get to go to Sonic and have a CORN DOG!!! Oh! MY! the delight in their little voices when their Dad asked them if they were ready to go to SONIC!!

I enjoyed getting to meet these birds and their human.

Then on the ride home…among the hills and canyons a very faint rainbow appeared.

A day as perfect as anyone could dream!

On Those Long Dark Nights—-Monday, November 21, 2016

my-hand-work-001

The sunsets so very early now, that the time change has occurred; making the days very short and the nights ever so long.

my-hand-work-002So for something to do, while watching TV I try my hand at different types of handiwork.

Don’t look too closely as there are errors.

It does fill my time nicely, though.

Your friend,

Linda
