Cliff and Kimi bought a quarter of that huge semi-load of firewood!
So —we all (Cliff, Kimberly, Terry, and I) loaded up 5 1/2 cords of firewood and took it over to Cliff and Kimberly’s house.
This way they can cut it there and not have to come all the way out to the farm!
YAY! for them and for us and the shrinking woodpile!

I really can’t tell. Feel better: do a little something. Then collapse, sleep —then start back over feeling a little better.

The weather people are telling us
We are in the very last days of Summer.
Any time now…any time
A visit from Jack Frost will arrive.
Bringing with it lots and lots of snow for the mountains
And hard killing frosts, causing our temperatures to drop from the high 60’s into the low 50’s
These are the last days of Summer glimmering in the clouds, the sky, and on the land.
