The sun and the moisture in the air gave us
That glorious omen of
Hope!
The omen that told Noah…all will be okay!

Our oldest daughter (and oldest child) was driving home from Grand Junction when the sun created an amazing arch.
That most ancient sign of hope
There was a perfect double rainbow, glittering among the cool raindrops, on the desert between Delta and Grand Junction.
A most welcoming, joyful sight!
From my world to your heart,
Linda
We were driving into town this evening to pick up the motorbike which had been repaired, and there was a really huge bow, probably several miles wide. You couldn’t see the top, it was in the clouds, but I’m sending you the left and right sides of it.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!!
From my world to your heart,
One of the gated pipes had a huge crack in it’s side—therefore, we had to go through our extra sticks of pipe and haul one over for the repair
Once there the pipe had to be pulled apart
The broken one removed.
(Mindy is helping. She had to check out the pipe to make sure we got the broken one.)
She approved.
Then we had to put the new pipe in place of the damaged pipe. And hook up all the pipes together again.
Took lots of time–pulling and tugging, then rolling the gates up into position.
You would think gated pipe would make irrigation easier, but the reality is they are lots of work.
So. There you go…the time-consuming repairs on top of all the ‘regular stuff.
And the gift of the day—A RAINBOW!
Oh, the joy!
From my world to your heart,
Linda
Hi there!
Here is a double rainbow we saw today after a thunderstorm this afternoon staying with friends in St George, Balonne Shire, southern Queensland.
Stunningly beautiful! All green and wet and full of blessing!
Thank you, Kate!
I just love receiving gifts of rainbows from everyone. They are a walk-together-in the rain.

My thoughts and feelings were like a wind storm full of snow. Then —–
I opened my email to this!
Linda,
So there on her soft rainy day, a gift to me, and to you, appeared.
Thank you so much, Marianne
I always love a Rainbow! 🙂

The cows arrived! The joy of cattle feet back on the land!
The storm clouds rolled in over-night, moving along by a wind unseen
Over in the South West part of our farm, a very faint Sundog started to appear.
Growing brighter and brighter in the cool cloudy sky.
In three days’ time, our temperature will drop too much cooler norms.
The thick clouds started filling in again…leaving not a single space of blue.
But the exciting thing of wonder (I almost missed it) came with a phone call from Cliff and Kimberly—
“Quick! Look to the West…there is a Care Bear Rainbow (as our daughter, Kimberly called the rainbow) dancing in the sky”.
Sure enough…There is was. Perfectly Perfect as a sign of Hope.

I opened my email to THIS 🙂 🙂 🙂
“My wife caught this rainbow in the Western sky around 7:00 Am. Very seldom see them in the Western sky. All things just lined up I guess. Been a wet summer here in the midwest high humidity even for us. Glad to see you back to full time farming this year. “Midwestern follower”
