The Awful Necessary Dance of Life — Monday, May 31, 2021

The day is full of such amazing, unexpected, delightful sights

Little sightings, fluttering softly on the edge of our every day

Elusive, searching, trotting here and there

A bright golden/red spot moving along — just over there

Sometimes running in a quick and fast tightly wound sprint

A blur of spun gold with a lush bushy tail.

Time is always spent in the pursuit of food

The minutes the seconds, the hours

The pause…so still…the birds are silent

Food.

One life-giving up living for another.

The Adventures of Mindy on Friday—-Can You Find, Friday, May 28, 2021

(Here is a secret—I don’t really like that annoying little cat!  But don’t tell Mom)

Anyway, I was wondering you could help me find

A MOUSE

Or

TWO.

So off we go

You and I

Together.

We look here

And

There

And Everywhere.

When SUDDENLY

THERE!

Right

THERE!

Yummmm

MOUSE!

When the World Truly Glimmers — Thursday, May 27, 2021

The most glorious time of night

(For me anyway)

Is always any time —

When I can see the moon.

In all of its glory.

When the Wind Tears the Earth to Shreds —- Wednesday, May 26, 2021

The is an UpSide to the wind—Sorta

It helps the sap rise up out of the roots of the trees, so the leaves can gather light and we can have shade

It can bring in a storm…it can, not always, but it could

But the biggest thing it does (on human terms)

is it keeps the bugs

At bay. 🙂

Thankfully! Thank You Ever so Much, for your Prayers, Tuesday, May 25, 2021

Terry is starting to feel so much better now.  It’s been a huge long-haul, but we are making it.

Six Doctors, four trips to the emergency room, a three-day stay in the hospital, then an operation for gallbladder, plus thyroid medication, plus finally being able to eat again…(he lost 20 pounds) the corner to health is being turned.

What a huge marvelous blessing!

I am so grateful for all your prayers, good wishes, hand-holding across the internet, and hugs both near and far.

You are all such wonderful caring people!

From my heart to your heart,

Linda

I AM SO BLESSED —- Sunday, May 23, 2021

Kate wrote: “Hello

We were driving into town this evening to pick up the motorbike which had been repaired, and there was a really huge bow, probably several miles wide. You couldn’t see the top, it was in the clouds, but I’m sending you the left and right sides of it.

I think it was sent for you.  You all need it more than I do right now 🙂
Hugs,
WOW!
I always love a rainbow!!!

Thank you!  Thank you! Thank you!!!!

After the Storm Tossed Sky — Thursday, May 20, 2021

We received no rain.

Clouds within clouds 🙂

Although, the sky was full of rain clouds and rain.

The rain that fell dried up before it could reach us.

We are that dry here.

Sometimes it happens that way.

The wind brings in a huge bundle of clouds,

Full of moisture.

You can even see the

rain chutes making their way to the earth.

Possibly even feel a drop or two on your skin

But that is all.

Still, the sky, the very air we breathe, even the plants on the earth

Feel refreshed in the dawn-touched world.
