The Adventures of Boo Berry Betty and TLC Cai-Cai on Friday—-Almost the End of the Year, Friday, December 27, 2024

Mom says it’s almost the end of the year.  Whatever that means.

End!  End of the year?  What does that mean?

I don’t see any end.

Everything pretty much seems the same to me.

Sometimes you are annoying, Boo Berry!

MOM!!!! MOM!! I want to come in and have a nap!

A Dance in the Sky —- Wednesday, December 27, 2023 (a Murmuration)

I was lucky, very lucky indeed

To be in the right place at the right time to watch the birds

Swoop and dive and rise again all as one

Dancing in the air

in the silver-bright sun where there is God(s)!

From my world to your heart,

Linda

That Divine Spark of God(s) — Tuesday, December 27, 2022

“What greater vision could be given humankind than for God to say to us, ‘You are my beloveds. Build with me, create with me.'”—David Spangler, Findhorn Gardens

(Just before the sun gets up–[this] morning)

We are blessed with that divine spark of God–or the Universe–or the Powers Above

(the sun waking up [this] morning)

That we are allowed to see each and every day

(Right now in the corrals)

This is my belief.  You don’t have to believe as I do.  I respect your right.

But for me.

(Hot summer morning)

I believe in the gift of life.

(a summer ray of sun)

A brand new day

(winter sun on frozen snow)

Each and every time I wake up

(September Morn)

And see the joy of the sunrise!

(end of the day in the summer)

Have a lovely, wonderful, magical day, My Friends,

From my world to your heart,

Linda

A Little Sweetness for Monday, December 27, 2021

Nothing sweeter than a little bunny.

This one is my friend.  He/She has grown used to seeing me and doesn’t run away anymore.

Between you and me, I think he/she likes having his/her photo taken.

A model bunny!

Firewood—- Sunday, December 27, 2020

We had help

Creating firewood

Our granddaughter, Linkin, and our youngest daughter, Linkin’s Mom, Misty.

They helped us split

and stack

Making short work of a huge load.

Nice!

(I’ll bet you are wondering, if and when we are ever going to get done with the semi-load of firewood.

We are wondering the same thing 🙂  )

Shadowed with Dreams—-Thursday, December 27, 2018

The air warmed up yesterday

Our world turned into mud

But this morning, as I write to you, there are huge fat fluffy flakes of snow filling in those paces whereby the melt had once occurred.

Delicate and soft like little tiny clouds drifting down to the earth.

Treasure each moment in your heart-each second is a true miracle.

Your friend on a western Colorado farm,

Linda

Two Gifts —- Wednesday, December 27, 2017

Our daughter Kimberly, and our son-in-law, Cliff came out one evening after their work and brought to us two quilts Kimberly made for Terry and I.  One for me–the one for Terry

The time and the work on these had to be immense!

Image may contain: 1 person, sitting and dog

Cliff posted the above photo of Kimberly and Gypsy working on the binding way into the night.  🙂 On his FB page.

I had to smile!

Thank you, both, for such amazing gifts!

Love,

Terry and Linda

In the Midst of Babel—Tuesday, December 27, 2016

(Some of the photos below are not current, but they spoke to me, as I wrote this post — I have chosen to share them with you.)

Cranes-4

I love summer, there isn’t anything about Spring, Summer or Fall that I don’t like—nothing.

Geese3Absolutely nothing!

end-of-day-001

Now, when it comes to winter, I struggle.  Still there are things that bring me peace–the babel of the winter birds; the air alive with their voices,  the setting and rising sun

end-of-day-002A walk on the farm, even in the face of a full force gale—

Moon in Januarywalking in the light of a winter moon, or even when the sky is only full of frozen pinpoints of starlight.

Winter-2(This is an old photo—we have no snow here yet)

Even the heavy snow upon the land has a way of lifting the soul.

Winter-Sky-1

In winter I enjoy those things that lighten my soul…just like in spring, summer and fall—those things that come alive within me and lighten the long, long days.

Winter-storm-1Those things that say I am home.

From my world to your heart!
